GOVERNOR BALA OPEN A TWO-DAY REFRESHER TRAINING ON SALARY ADMINISTRATORS IN BAUCHI STATE.
His Excellency The Executive Governor of Bauchi State, Send Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed CON Kauran Bauchi, announced the opening of a two-day refresher course for salary administrators in Bauchi State at Zaranda Hotel, Bauchi.
Governor Bala, who was represented by the Deputy Governor of the State, Rt. Hon. Mohammed Auwal Jatau, Has affirmed that since coming to office in 2019, his administration has ensured prompt and regular payments of salaries, despite some challenges faced on the state nominal and pay rolls. He said significant efforts have been put in place towards eradicating such occurrences in the future.
The governor said despite significant numbers of retirees, the state payroll refused to drop, which calls for the sanitizing of payroll. He called on the commissioners, permanent secretaries, accounting officers, and other relevant stakeholders to put all hands on their desks towards ensuring sanity with the state payroll irregularities.
He said that Governor Bala’s administration is determined to employ fresh blood across the state, but the irregularities in the payroll have made it impossible. He calls for collaboration between the office of the Accountant General of the State and the Commissioners and Permanent Secretaries to brace and bring about modalities that will bring lasting solutions to the lingering problem.
Governor Bala reiterates his desire and will continue with the prompt payments of salaries and pensions of the state civil servants, appealing on the civil servants to continue to support his administration for the growth and transformation of Bauchi State.
Governor Bala Mohammed used the medium to renew his pledge and promise of dedicating himself to the services of the state for the well being of the citizenry.
Bauchi State Head of Civil Service, Alh. Yahuza Adamu Haruna, commended Governor Bala’s administration for his continuous support to the civil servants and pensioners of the state in terms of salaries and pensions, considering the financial situation across the country.
Alh. Yahuza also employs the participants to come up with new modalities that will bring about the end of the lingering crises and challenges faced with the state nominal payroll for the stability and growth of the state.
