In the political history of Alkaleri Local Government Area, few young leaders have demonstrated the level of commitment, vision, and grassroots influence displayed by Hon. Ahmed Maiwada Bello (Geo-Barrister), the Honourable Commissioner for Solid Minerals Development in Bauchi State and the revered Sadaukin Alkaleri.

Hon. Ahmed Maiwada Bello has distinguished himself as one of the most promising and dynamic political figures of his generation. Despite his youthful age, he possesses exceptional intelligence, administrative competence, and remarkable foresight in addressing issues that affect the people.

His political journey has been characterized by dedication, loyalty, and service. Before his appointment as Commissioner, he served as the Zonal Coordinator of the Kaura Social Media Forum Bauchi State, where he played a vital role in mobilizing support and strengthening communication between leadership and the grassroots. Even after assuming office as Commissioner, he remains an active member of the organization, continuously contributing ideas, supporting members, and maintaining a close relationship with the people, particularly those from Alkaleri Local Government.

Having acquired extensive training and experience in the solid minerals sector, Hon. Maiwada Bello has earned the confidence and admiration of the Bauchi State Government. His expertise and commitment to excellence have made him a valuable asset to the administration.

Recognizing his competence and leadership qualities, the Executive Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, CON, appointed him as Commissioner for Solid Minerals Development. Since assuming office, Hon. Maiwada Bello has transformed the ministry’s operations, introducing innovative reforms, enhancing visibility, and improving the effectiveness of its activities. Under his leadership, the ministry has become more proactive, accessible, and impactful than ever before.

Despite the enormous responsibilities of his office, Hon. Maiwada Bello has remained deeply connected to his roots. He frequently visits Alkaleri, often two to three times every week, to engage directly with the people, listen to their concerns, and provide practical solutions to their challenges. This rare commitment has earned him widespread admiration and unwavering support from the community.

Today, he has become a rallying point for the people of Alkaleri. Wherever he goes, he attracts admiration, support, and loyalty from individuals across different social and political backgrounds.

Driven by his vision for sustainable political development and grassroots empowerment, Hon. Maiwada Bello established The Kaura Movement, a rapidly growing political movement that has attracted thousands of supporters across Bauchi State. The movement continues to gain momentum due to its clear objectives, inclusive leadership style, and strategic approach to community engagement.

In a landmark political development, Hon. Maiwada Bello became the first Commissioner to organize a massive political rally in Alkaleri Local Government Area to promote the newly established APM-Alheri Party, symbolized by the cassava emblem. Following the rally, intensive grassroots campaigns commenced across communities, wards, villages, and settlements, aimed at mobilizing support for the party ahead of the 2027 elections.

The creation of The Kaura Movement has further strengthened efforts toward securing electoral victory for the APM-Alheri Party and advancing the developmental vision of Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed.

Recognizing the importance of experience and wisdom in leadership, Hon. Ahmed Maiwada Bello appointed a respected elder statesman, Alhaji Danlami Yusuf Abdullahi Alkaleri, as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of The Kaura Movement.

Alhaji Danlami Yusuf Abdullahi is currently the Governing Board Chairman of the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), Bauchi State, under the Ministry of Humanitarian and Disaster Management. He previously served as Chairman of the Governing Board of the Aliko Dangote College of Nursing and Midwifery, Bauchi, where he recorded significant achievements, including facilitating the institution’s full accreditation by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE), introducing ND and HND programmes, expanding Community Midwifery studies, and overseeing remarkable academic successes in national examinations conducted by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.

In addition, he is a respected member of the Alkaleri Local Government Stakeholders Forum and the Alkaleri Elders Forum. His wisdom, patience, integrity, and commitment to community development have made him a highly respected figure throughout the state.

Alhaji Danlami is widely recognized for his humility, accessibility, and dedication to mentoring and empowering others. His partnership with Hon. Ahmed Maiwada Bello has provided strong leadership and direction for The Kaura Movement, contributing significantly to its growth and acceptance among the people.
